What’s going on right now in Jonesy Town?

In case you’ve been wondering what Six Tin Jonesy is up to these days, let me fill you in on what’s happening.

As probably most of you know, we started working on our first album in October 2009. After some intense teamwork with Armin Breuer, who you might know from the band “Defcon” or productions for “Red Lights Flash”, we sent our recordings to Keule from BluMaster Studios in Bonn, Germany. We are really excited to announce that we’re more than happy with the outcome of our album. In the meantime we’ve been working on cover design, a music video for the first single and some other management matters. Plus we will soon re-launch our website and improve our myspace platform.

Some of you might think, “well they are doing all that work, and all we read is promises, but when will this thing actually be released?”

Currently the release is planed to be this fall. Sorry that we can’t give you any more detailed information but a couple things still need to be sorted out. But let me tell you, it definitely will have been worth the wait!

After finishing the recording of our first and therefore also new album, we are currently working on the rest of what’s left to do in order to finally release the record.

If you now think that’s a lame excuse for not playing shows and party with all of you, well it’s not. Come out and see for yourself:

25th of November!

We finally did it. After months in our practice room and in the studio working closely together with Armin Breuer our producer for our new upcoming album, we got done recording the last vocal parts for all the songs today.

After long sessions yesterday and today, we’re now waiting with you for mixing and mastering to be done. It will still take a little while for the whole thing to be completed, but as soon as we have a first rough mix I promise to put some samples up on our website and on myspace!
